Alright, well I have been sitting on a few pieces to save for the opening of the tavern, but I am really proud of this one, and want to share it now.

This is Go Go Gorilla. He is the main character in a comic put out by Ape Entertainment, with the art chores handled by the man ~Dustyart. I told him about a month ago I was gonna do this and I came up with the idea right then, but sat on it until I got the sketch right. The rumor is he is gonna try and push this into the book. Cross your fingers kids!

Characters drawn on paper, inked in Illustrator, and colored in Photoshop.

That's awesome. haha

I like the reddish tone you used for the shadows on the characters.. it gives it that sense of heat and goes with the background/environment well.

i'd use a single tone for the shadows on the leaves on the palm tree however... and more of a clean cut so it matches with the sun/ground in the background. my eyes seem to be drawn to the detail on the leaves with all the brush strokes =p

Dude, things are lookin' good for you :) Thsi pic is amazing and speaks for itself, the Ape crew is really diggin' it as I'm sure you'll find out. I've got to favorite this bad boy!
