After yesterdays journal about the pitfalls of the games industry, it feels great to follow it up with a feature on IGN about the game I am currently working on. I wasn't responsible for anything in the trailer since I've only been at Snowblind for a couple of months, but I'm still excited to see the game getting a push this early. Let me know what ya think!

GDC 2013 Animation Bootcamp
Last spring a conversation sprung up on twitter about game animation not being as well represented as it could be at conferences world wide. From that discussion, a handful of us got together to do something about it. What we present here is the type of game animation conference I have always dreamed about attending, with an equal focus on both the craft of animation and it's overlap with game design.
I proudly present the GDC 2013 Animation Bootcamp taking place March 25th! This is an opportunity to grow both our craft and our involvement with all things game dev and I hope to see you there!
And spread the word!

Hope everyone is out there living some really kick ass lives!

The bonus is that my wife and I will be moving back to the state that still feels most like home: Pennsylvania. We have really enjoyed all the adventures that the Pacific North West has afforded, but getting back to a smaller metropolitan area and closer to family is going to be fantastic.
WB Seattle has been a great studio to work for, and my limited time with them betrays the amazing amount of talent and potential it has to create some top notch games. The first game I worked on with them is Lord of the R
My Thoughts on Game Development
Over the last couple of years I have really embraced everything game development and design, which has taken away from the time I used to devote to drawing. Which, looking at my gallery is pretty apparent.
Recently though I've been taking what I've learned or what I've been thinking about and become more active in getting my ideas out there. So when #AltDevBlogADay was being formed, I jumped at the chance to be a part of a gaggle of game devs talking about their process. The majority of the posters are programmers, but if you have any interest getting into games or peering behind the current, you should make that site a part of your daily tr
